Mr. Willie Carroll Rutland, 75 of Monticello, MS passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello, MS. Willie Carroll born October 30, 1943 in Monticello, MS to James Laney and Vivian Augusta Smith Rutland.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS and continuing Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services following in Forest Grove Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery. Bro. Bobby Dawson will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Willie Carroll enjoyed visiting everybody, especially spending time at Ward's Restaurant and Duncan Chevron. He was a member of Forest Grove Methodist Protestant Church. He will be missed by everyone.

He is survived by his son Noah Rutland of Monticello, daughter Melissa Howell of Monticello; grandchildren Katelyn Howell, Dylan Howell and Taylor Rutland all of Monticello; sister in law Johnnie Mae Rutland also of Monticello.

Preceding him in death are his parents, brothers James Paul Rutland and Edward Earl Rutland.
