William Calvin Rutland, 71 of Jayess, Mississippi died on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at New Dawn Retirement Center in Ruth, Mississippi.

Born Sunday, January 9, 1944.He was the husband of Jo Ann Rutland. He was the owner of Rutland Logging.

Surviving are Wife Jo Ann Rutland, of Monticello, MS, Son: Travis Rutland and wife Margaret of Silver Creek, MS, Daughters, Tammy Hyde of Folsom, LA, and Melissa Holloman and husband Jamey of Jayess, MS, Brothers: Jerry Rutland and wife Maxine of Monticello, MS, and L. S. " Buddy " Rutland and wife Ivy of Monticello, MS, Sisters, Louise Strong and husband Joe of Monticello, MS, and Lura Caul and husband Harold of Jayess, MS. Stepchildren: Cindy McCloud, Debra Lambert, Walton Ballard, and Terry Ballard. Grandchildren: Bryan Tyrney, Devin Hyde, Calyn Brabham, Cody McCloud, Britny Ellis, Tyson Lambert, Tedra Rushing, Jason Lavender, Theresa Mangum, Tina Rutland, and Andrew Ballard and 11 Great Grand Children.

He was preceded in death by Parents: Jesse V. Rutland, and Eula Lee Smith Rutland. Brothers, Lester Rutland, Charles Rutland and Clifford Rutland, Sisters: Jessie Rutland, Grace Conerly and Julia Conerly.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on friday march 13,2015 at Wilson Funeral Home located at 904 Thomas E Jolly Dr Monticello, Mississippi 39654.
Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 9 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Wilson Funeral Home, 904 Thomas E Jolly Dr, Monticello, Mississippi.
