Funeral services for William Floyd Redmond will be on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Bible Baptist Church in Silver Creek, MS at 12:30 PM with burial to follow in the Bible Church Cemetery in Silver Creek, MS. Bro. Malcolm "Buck" Rester will be officiating the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Bible Church on Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM.

Mr. Redmond, 53, of Silver Creek, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Lawrence County Nursing Center. He was born on January 14, 1965 in Independence, LA, to Bob and Catherine Goad Redmond.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Bob Redmond and Catherine Davis; and brother, Jackie Redmond.

Survivors are his son, William Robert Redmond and wife Erica Danielle of Silver Creek, MS; daughter, Christy Zahradnik-Mitchell and husband Robert of Denver Colorado; and 5 grandchildren; Papa George Davis of Silver Creek, MS;  brothers Woodrow and Misty Redmond of Dyersburg, TN, Monroe and Louise Redmond of Ethel, LA; sisters Margie and Frank Johnson of Mt. Hermon, LA, Liz Redmond of Albany, LA, Ethel and Gerald Walker of Monticello, MS, Dorothy Goings of Mt. Hermon, LA, Melda Ainsworth of Tickfaw, LA, and Lela Rose Davis of Pascagoula, MS.
