Funeral services for William "Bill" Lambert will be on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Sontag, MS.  Phillip Davis will be officiating the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Mr. Bill, 76, of Monticello, MS, passed from this life on Monday, March 15, 2020, at Merritt Health in Jackson, MS. He was born on October 23, 1943 in Copiah County, MS, to Jack and Alpha Herrington Lambert.

He enjoyed visiting with his friends and drinking his coffee at Ward's Restaurant in Monticello, MS. Mr. Bill will be missed by many.

Preceding him in death were his parents; half-brother, Charles Raines.

Survivors are his half-sister, Ava Lee Raines and half-brother Tommy Raines both from Oregon; a host of cousins; a very special friend and caregiver Susan (Sugie) Smith.
