Virginia Ann Johnson, 72 was called home from this life on June 21, 2017, at her residence in Sontag, MS with her loving family by her side. Virginia was born December 10, 1944 in Braxton, MS to Henry and Ada Mae Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Saturday June 24, 2017 from 6 PM until 9 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag and continuing Sunday June 25, 2017 from 1 PM until service time at 2 PM with graveside services following in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Ed King will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, fishing and gardening. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church for over fifty years.
Surviving Mrs. Johnson are her husband of 55 years Franklin Leon Johnson of Sontag, MS; sons Franklin Paul of Niota Tennessee; Billy Wayne of Madisonville Tennessee; and Tony Johnson of Sontag, MS. 3 brothers and 2 sisters; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents Henry and Ada Mae Taylor. 2 brothers, Pincher Taylor and Toby Taylor.
