Mr. Tyson DeWayne Vaughan 33, of Jayess, MS, passed from this life on Sunday, September 30, 2019, at a family member's residence, Jayess, MS.
Tyson is preceding him in death by his grandparents: Clayton and Maxine Vaughan and Johnny and Shirley Brown all of Jayess, MS. Also, two Aunts: Kim Laird and Theresa Salter; two Uncles: Lester Brown and Clay Vaughan; his best friend, Kinni Greer of Jayess, MS.
Tyson is survived by his parents: Wesley and Genie Vaughan and Cynthia and Eddie Alexander from Jayess, MS. He is survived by his Wife: Kimberly Vaughan and their three children, Andrew Barras, Elijah Vaughan and, Eden Vaughan from Jayess, MS. Also, he is survived by his siblings: Christy Stuart (Jesse), Kayla Smith (Reid Graves), Jacob Russell, Ben Russell (Shelby), Nathan Russell, Melanie Wallace (Frank), Monica Miller (Brently), Miranda Kennedy (Johnathan), and Patrick Alexander; two aunts, Sonya Brinkley and Sharon Smithie; along with many nieces and nephews, all are from Jayess, MS.
Tyson was born in Jackson, MS on Octobe 27, 2019 to Wesley Vaughan and Cynthia Alexander. Tyson attended Topeka – Tilton Attendance Center grades K - 8 th and then went to Lawrence County High School. He was a member of his school band from 6 th grade – 11 th grade. He received many academic awards. Tyson worked on and off with his father doing construction. On April 3, 2015 Tyson married Kimberly Parkman of Jayess, MS. He gained a step-son and as a family they welcomed another son and a daughter. All were the most important part of his life.
Tyson had one of the most captivating and sweetest smiles. When he smiled his entire face lit up. He loved with every piece of himself and was always there when you needed him. Tyson took so much pride in his work. He always took his time and made sure it was done right. He loved creating things. Tyson was well known for his love of music along with other artistic abilities. At a very young age Tyson became very interested in music, especially the piano, even though he played the trumpet in the school band. He played from his heart and he played so beautifully. He loved his family and would do anything for any of them. He loved to laugh and to tell jokes. Tyson enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was baptized on October 27, 2015 at New Bethel Jesus Name Church in Enon, MS. He attended church regularly at Powell's Grove Church. Tyson also visited other churches in the community. Tyson had an amazing soul. He was just a beautiful person inside and out. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Powell's Grove Church in Jayess, MS. Brother Turner and Brother Dale Authement will officiate
