Tony T. Knight, beloved father and grandfather, left to be with his heavenly Father on January 18th, 2025, after 76 years on this earth. A long-time resident of Hazlehurst, Mississippi, "Tony", "Daddy", or "Pawpaw Tony" was born May 14, 1948 in Georgetown, Mississippi.

When he wasn't working hard to haul cattle across the country, he loved spending time with his family and friends. It was rare that he met a stranger. From an early age, he learned to "horse trade". He enjoyed his cows and taking care of them. He was a fan of Willie Nelson. In his later years, he became an avid bird watcher with Ms. Linda.

Tony is preceded in death by Elmer and Pauline Knight (parents), Jewel Rice Knight (wife), J. C. Knight (brother), Dianne Cameron (sister), Bruce Knight (brother), and Timmy Carroll (stepson).

He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Linda Carroll; his children: Anthony (Becky) Knight, Cynthia (Casey) Granger, Mandy (Jason) Miller, John (Tiffany) Knight, and stepdaughter, Vicky (Clif) Polk.

Grandchildren are: Jake (Harley) Knight, Libby (David) Thames, Maya (Will) Thurman, Molly Granger, Justin and Manuel Miller, E. J. and Little John Knight, Michael and Gabe Shivers, Ashley (Jerry) Richardson, Kolby (Cheyenne) Polk, Hollye Carroll and Jayme Carroll.

Great grandchildren are: Caroline, Blair, Eli, Raelynn, Lane, Emery, and Grey.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Georgetown Pentecostal Church with funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm and burial at Georgetown Cemetery.
