Timothy (Tim) Donnelly Green, 71, of Monticello, MS passed away March 16, 2026. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on January 3, 1955, to James Lesleigh Green, Jr. and Gladyce Donnelly Green.
Tim was an entrepreneur and owner of several successful businesses throughout his life. In recent years, he was well known for his work with antique restoration. He had a musical gift and was a talented bass guitarist and singer/song writer. He was an outdoorsman and especially loved deep sea fishing. He enjoyed card games with lifelong friends. He was a friend to many. Above all, he was a beloved father to his three daughters and "Poppy" to his four grandchildren. They were his pride and joy. His Catholic faith was a steady part of his life, and his relationship with God and trust in His plan for his life never wavered.
He is preceded in death by his father, James L. Green, Jr.; mother, Gladyce D. Green; brother, James (Jim) L. Green III; sister, Francille Trombley and sister, Suzanne Chubb.
Those left to cherish his memory are daughters; Katherine Marguerite Green, Sarabeth Green Hall (Stuart), and Laura Green Selman (Robert); sisters, Maureen Burlone and Elaine Rodgers; grandchildren, Ashlyn Kate Hall, John Stuart Hall, Robert Estes Selman III (Tripp) and Marykate Marguerite Selman and a host of loved nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
Visitation will be held starting at 10:00 AM. prior to His memorial service planned for April 17, 2026 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brookhaven, MS at 11:00 AM.
