Mr. Thomas Wayne Wright, 66, of Monticello, MS passed away peacefully at his home, on September 13, 2023. Thomas was born on July 20, 1957 in Guntersville, Alabama to Thomas Wayne and Mary EidsonWright of Guntersville, Alabama.

There will be a memorial service at a later date at the Crooked Creek Baptist Church in Silver Creek, Mississippi.

He is survived by his children: Thomas III (Trey), Mary Elizabeth Wright, and Haley Wright; his grandchildren: Alyssa Purifoy, Emma Purifoy, Gracelyn Collum, Natalie Wright, and Mary Katherine Collum. His sisters: Camilla Roberts and Kristina Roberts.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Breck Wright.

Mr. Wright went to Delta State University on a track and basketball scholarship. He served in the United States Air Force as an air traffic controlman. He enjoyed golf, being outdoors, and spending time with his grandchildren. Thomas admired antiques and collectibles.
