Funeral services for Thomas McClain "Buddy" Givens, 59 will be on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Carmel Baptist Church in Monticello, MS at 2 PM with burial to follow in the Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello, MS. Bro. James Killingsworth and Bro. Joey Bland will be officiating the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Carmel Baptist Church on Wednesday June 27, 2018, from 10 AM until 2 PM.

Mr. Givens, of Jayess, MS, passed from this life on June, 24, 2018, at his residence in Jayess. He was born on October 8, 1958 in Brookhaven, MS, to Luther Thomas Givens and Joyce Ann Rudolph. He was retired from Wal Mart where he worked in the Tire & Lube Department as a shop foreman. He was a member of Carmel Baptist Church and was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He served his country in the United States Army National Guard.

Preceding him in death were his parents; Luther Thomas "L.T." Givens and Joyce Ann Rudolph.

Survivors are his daughters, Monica Bland (Joey), Cassie Easley (Brian) and Hope Givens all of Brookhaven, MS; mother Sylvia Givens of Monticello; sisters Jeane Foerste (Jim), Donna Bailey (Kenneth), Debbie Latham (Raymond) and Stacey Brooks (Dennis), grandchildren Lilly, Amelia, Isla, Leo, Lane, Levi, Cade, Tucker and Sully, along with a host of family and friends.
