Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Clay, 95, of Monticello, MS passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at his residence in Monticello, Mississippi. Tommy was born October 1, 1924, in Tutwiler, Mississippi to Dr. Thomas F. and Delia Fewell Clay.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Tommy honorably served his country in the United States Navy as a Navy Pilot. Tommy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He retired from Mississippi Deferred Compensation. He was a member of Monticello United Methodist Church in Monticello for many years. Tommy will be missed by everyone.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 71 Years Lynda Rhymes Clay of Monticello, MS; sons Trace Clay of Slidell, LA, Scott Clay and wife Kathy of Arlington, TX,  Mark Clay and wife Vicki of Monticello, MS, Mike Clay and wife Becky of Brandon, MS and Shellie Stassi and husband Jeff of Deforest, WI; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Those preceding him in death were his parents; and 5 sisters.
