Ms. Suzanne Rebekah Schmidt Barras, born April 17, 1960 and passed away on May 25, 2025. She was the daughter of Roy and Annette Schmidt.

A memorial is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM.

Ms. Barras was an excellent seamstress. She tremendously loved her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roy Allen Schmidt, Jr., and grandson, Kash Threeton.

Ms. Suzanne is survived by her children: son, Daven Schmidt (Jessica) of Kelso, TN; daughter, Danielle Barras of McComb, MS.; grandchildren: Kailey Barras and Karter Barras of Kelso, TN, Christian Roberson of Kelso, TN, and Isabel Flores of Las Vegas, NV.; and her cherished great-granddaughter Kehlani West Davis; brothers: Mark Schmidt (Cynthia Sequra) of New Iberia, LA, Stephen Schmidt (Peggy) of Summit, MS; sisters: Esther Martin (Gordon) of Sontag, MS., and Anita Clements of Kilgore, TX.; along with many nieces and nephews, who all loved their "Aunt Tootie".
