Obituary

Ms. SuezAnn Rayner, 74, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at her home in Monticello. She was born December 1, 1947 in Morton, Mississippi to Woodrow and Irma Lee Phillips Boxx.

Visitation will take place at Wilson Funeral Home on October 7 from 12:00 noon until funeral services begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Monticello. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. SuezAnn was a loving mother and grandmother; she was a Christian who loved to study the Bible. She worked for many years as a cosmetologist, and was a talented cook and cake decorator. She never met a stranger and loved to talk to her family, friends and anyone that she met.

She is survived by her children Jack Gardner (Judy) of Canton, MS; Rhonda Young (Harold) of Monticello; Kip Gardner (Davina) of Florence, MS; and Aaron Rayner of Brandon, MS; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by one sister, Janice Wooten, as well as her extended family and friends.

SuezAnn was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Jean Patti Rhodes; and one brother, Billy Loper; as well as by two grandchildren; Ricky Bynum and Kimberly Gardner.
