Steven Lee Case, 59 was called home from this life on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at his residence in Monticello, MS. Mr. Case was born January 31, 1956 in Brookhaven, MS to Richard Harveston and Betty Ann Lester Case Smith.
Visitation will be at Monticello Methodist Protestant Church in Monticello, MS on Friday July 24, 2015 at Monticello Methodist Protestant Church from 9:00 AM until the time of memorial service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will follow in Bethshan Cemetery in Monticello, MS. Bro. Peter Lanigan will officiate. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Case spent his lifetime working in the oil industry. At the time of his death, Mr. Case was a Toolpusher for Coastal Drilling. He is a member of the Monticello Methodist Protestant Church and a lifelong resident of Monticello, MS. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, especially fishing, driving his tractor and helping others. He was a loving husband, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed by all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his Parents.
Survivors are His wife: Carol LaBeth Case of Monticello, Ms; Sister: Brenda Gay Bennett of Monticello, MS; Brothers: Terry Johnson of Jayess, MS and Ricky Harveston of Orange, TX; Step-son: Cas Stamps; Granddaughter: Isabella Stamps; and four Nieces and one Nephew.
