Steven Allen Reid, 54 was called home from this life on June 22, 2017, at his residence in Tilton, MS with his loving family by his side. Steven was born June 28, 1962 in Pasadena, Texas to Harold and Martha Ann Mann Reid.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 5:30 PM until 10 PM at Sauls Valley Baptist Church in Monticello, MS with funeral services at 11 AM Sunday June 25, 2017 at Sauls Valley Baptist Church with graveside services following in Sauls Valley Cemetery. Bro. Winston Fortenberry and Bro. Douglas Lee will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Steven loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grand-babies and spending time with his wife and shopping at Dirt Cheap. He was a member of Sauls Valley Baptist Church. He was a talented painter and which that gift can be found in many homes across Lawrence County and beyond.
Surviving Steven is his wife of 35 years Paula Mullins Reid of Tilton; mother Martha Ann Reid of Jayess; daughters Stephanie and Savannah Reid of Tilton; brothers Glenn Reid and Chris Reid both of Jayess, and 5 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his father Harold Reid and brother Don "Skeet" Reid.
Pallbearers are Donnie Mullins, Dale Mullins, Charlie Jones, Robert Watts, Bobby Selman and Mickey Berry.
