Sidney Owen King, Sr., 79 of Monticello, MS passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at his residence in Monticello, MS. He was born Tuesday, January 16, 1945 in Tylertown, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 9:45 AM until 11:00 AM at Wilson Funeral Home in 904 W. Thomas E. Jolly Drive, Monticello, MS. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 11:15 AM at RockHill Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Monticello, MS . Bro. Kenny Cantrell will officiate. Sid was an avid car enthusiast. He loved going to car shows, spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Miles King; mother, Dezzie Carlene Wallace King; brother, James Ronald King.

Survivors include his wife, Janell N. Neal King of Monticello, MS; son, Sidney Owen King, Jr. (Beth); daughter, Dawana King Morgan (Jimmy); brother, Reginald Rayford King, Sr. (Kay);  sister, Anita Pearl King Lambert (Clifford).
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Morgan, Curtis Lambert, Sonny King, Brent King, Eddie King, and Mark Carr.
