Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Herrington will be on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Nola Baptist Church in Monticello, MS at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the Nola Cemetery. Bro. Danny Woods will be officiating the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Nola Baptist Church on Saturday, May 26, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Shirley, 82, of Monticello, MS, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at St. Dominic's Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on August 26, 1935 in Hazlehurst, MS, to Will Roy and Roberta Armstrong. She enjoyed attending church, anything outdoors, and reading, but most of all she enjoyed her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Ed Herrington; daughter, Fay Rushton; her 3 sisters, Willie Jean Herrington, Mary Ann Styron, and Marie Herrington; and her 2 brothers, Johnny Armstrong and Bobby Armstrong.

Survivors are her daughters, Lisa Vincent and stepdaughter, Janet Hutchins and husband Daniel; grandchildren, Michael Thames and wife Renee, Shane Harris, Crystal Begnaud and husband Joe, and Samantha Shepherd and husband Brad; great grandchildren, Alexis, Janci, Jayden, Styles, Casey, Zeigan, Christian, Ava, Haygen, Tyne, Kiley; and a host of family and friends.
