Shirley Dean Hisaw Beasley, 75 of Monticello, MS passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at her son's residence in Wesson, MS, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Thursday, December 8, 1949 in Louisville, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home at 904 W. Thomas E. Jolly Drive, Monticello, MS. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS. Burial will follow at Lowe Cemetery. Bro. James Harris will officiate. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Shirley was an active member of Pearl Valley Baptist Church in Wesson, MS, where she enjoyed participating in Sunday School and enjoyed her time with her friends and church family. Early in her career, she owned her own business, Shirley's Hair Port in Monticello, MS; after health issues she had to retire as a beautician. Later in her career, she was employed at Dickerson and Bowen Sand and Gravel as an office Dispatcher in Brookhaven, MS until her late husband took ill and she had to retire and care for him. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her close friends and family, having coffee/eating at any local Waffle House, and reading/studying her Bible daily.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Dewitt Beasley; daughter, Gerri Juanita Hancock Griffith; stepdaughter, Linda Beasley Smith; father, Travis Hisaw; mother, Myrtis Mae McCully Hisaw; brother, Jimmy Wayne Hisaw; sister, Jean Shirley.
Survivors include her sons, Travis Beasley (Brandi) of Wesson, MS and Johnny Wayne Hancock (Tonya) of Mize, MS; daughters, Teresa Hancock of Mize, MS, Elizabeth Mae Hancock Grubbs (Gregg) of Magee, MS; step-son, Troy Beasley (Angie) of Monticello, MS; step-daughter, Kim Barlow (Carroll) of Brookhaven, MS; grandsons, Jace Beasley, Jasper Cannon (Gracie), Christopher Hancock (Kara), Blake Hancock, Chase Griffith, Dustin Thompson, Jeremy Smith, Chad Smith and Steven Beasley; granddaughters, Aria Beasley, Courtney Devrow (Charles), Kasi Weghorst (Anthony), Laci Clack (Richard), Brittany Hasbargen (Robbie), Amanda Rose Bourgeois (Brandon), Kimberly Hataway and Amber Morrison (Matthew).
Pallbearers will be Jasper Cannon, Charles Devrow, Brandon Bourgeois, Gregg Grubbs, Buddy Robinson, Robbie Hasbargen, Chris Wallace, and Michael Compton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Channel, Jace Beasley, and Adam Boquet.
Special music will be performed by some of her loving granddaughters.
