Mrs. Shannon Sappington, 40 of Monticello was called home from this life on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at her residence in Monticello; MS. Shannon was born January 29, 1977 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to James Myler and Connie Emmons.

Memorial services will be held on a later date.
Shannon enjoyed cooking, gardening and loved spending time outdoors with her family and friends.

Surviving Shannon is her husband Aaron Sappington of Monticello, MS; father James Myler of Baton Rouge, LA; sister Krystal Erwin of Tylertown, MS, brother Joseph Erwin also of Tylertown, MS; step-father Henry Erwin of Gloster, MS; mother-in-law Rose Sappington of Monticello, MS.

Preceding her in death was her mother Connie Erwin; sister Samantha Emmons.
