Sallie Lou Cody, 88 was called home from this life on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at South West Medical Center in McComb, MS. Sallie was born May 5, 1928 in Folkston, GA to Robert Alonzo and Lula Muriel Johns Bryant.

There will be a time of visitation from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, July 23, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home and visitation from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Wanilla Baptist Church. Services start at 3:00pm with the graveside service following at Wanilla Baptist Church Cemetery . Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Dr. Rick Underwood and Bro. Jeff Vosbrink will officiate the services.

Mr. & Mrs. Cody were the owners of Cody's Catfish Farm for 35 years.

Surviving Sallie are her children Betty Cody Rennell and husband Lawrence; Steve Alton Cody and wife Jennie; and sister Flora Jane Leitch and husband Bobby; grandchildren Bryant Rennell and wife Wendy; Stephanie Rennell Tippit and husband Mike; Tyler Cody and fiancé Heather; Kristin Cody Watson and husband Adam; and great-grandchildren Catherine Rennell and Carson Rennell.

Proceeding her in death are parents Robert and Lula Johns Bryant, husband George Cody, brother Gordon Bryant and sister Joann Bryant Underwood.
