Rosie Smith Dunning, 90 was called home from this life on November 5, 2016, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello, MS. Rosie was born July 11,in Lucien MS to Jim and Lillie Smith Hart.
Visitation will be held on Monday November 7, 2016 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello and continuing Tuesday November 8, 2016 from 9 AM until service time at 2 PM. Rev. Peter Lanigan will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Surviving Rosie is her children Lanelle Lambert and husband Sidney of Jayess, MS; sons Charles Ray Smith and wife Betty of Natchez, MS and John Larry Smith and wife Tammy of Sontag, and a brother Tillman Hart of Brandon, MS.
Preceading her in death were husbands Oris Smith and Richard Dunning, parents Jim and Lillie Smith Hart, brothers John Hart, and Robert Hart, sister Ruby Smith.
