Roger Mitchell Ratcliff, 84 of Silver Creek, MS passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at his residence in Silver Creek, MS. He was born Sunday, December 11, 1938 in Silver Creek, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edger Ratcliff and Eunice Sanders Ratcliff; one brother, Haynes Ratcliff; one Sister, Frankie Ratcliff Clark.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Ratcliff of Silver Creek, MS; son, Jimmy Ratcliff (Shelly) ; daughter, Pam Ratcliff Plisko (Andrew) ; 4 Grand children and 6 Great-Grandchildren. He also loved a host of nie ces , nep hews, extended family, and friends.

Mitchell was the owner of Performance Oil Equipment Inc. for over 40 years. He was very mechanically talented and could repair almost anything. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, caring for his many bee hives on his bee farm, and gardening. Mitchell enjoyed hunting and fishing with bird hunting being his favorite. He served faithfully as a deacon at Monticello Baptist Church for many years.
