Robin Gail Shumaker, 69, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 29, 1953 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Bob and Dot Wilson Herring.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM at Carmel Baptist Church in Monticello, MS. Graveside services will follow in Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello. Kenneth Jeffery Herring and Hugh Watts will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Robin enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed fishing with her husband at Lake Washington for many years. Robin was a member of Carmel Baptist Church.

Robin is survived by her children: Jason Shumaker (Carla), Jonathan Shumaker (Bailey) and Emily Stormo all of Monticello; brother, Jeffery Herring (Lyn) and 2 sisters, Michelle Montague and Sandra Langston; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Rickey Shumaker; brothers Kenneth Herring and Joe Herring.
