Mr. Robert Earl Delaughter, 86, of Monticello, MS passed away peacefully at his home, on December 23, 2023. Robert was born on June 4, 1938 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Martin and Jessie Delaughter of Brookhaven, Mississippi.

There will be a memorial service Friday, December 29th, 2023 at New Life Church in Monticello at 5pm. Brother Jay Thompson will officiate.

He is survived by his children: Anthony Delaughter (Candice) of Monticello and Tina Flippin (David) of Flowood; his life partner, Annie Breland; grandchildren, Joshua Delaughter, Kacie Delaughter, Sabrina Sheffield (Chad), Malachi and Shiloh Carney; 9 great grandchildren, Starlee, Cole, Justyn, Bernadette, Thorin, Dominus, Sophia, Ajax, Nadya.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Mr. Delaughter loved to fish, loved the outdoors and his yard animals.  He was a very good carpenter and wood-worker. Robert absolutely loved his grandbabies.
