Rickey Dale Dunaway, 63, was called home from this life on April 5, 2018, at his residence in Monticello, MS.  Rickey was born May 2, 1954 in Jayess, MS to Dosbie Dale and Eunice Catherine Blackwell Dunaway.

Visitation will be held on Monday April 9, 2018 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Providence Baptist Church in Jayess, MS and continuing Tuesday April 10, 2018 from 9 AM until service time at 11 AM at Providence Baptist Church with graveside services following in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Glen Hilton will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Rickey Dale formally worked in the oil field as a service tech for WWT and was currently employed with the Lawrence County School System as a bus driver, he loved the children on the bus route and they loved him, he also was self-employed as a heavy equipment operator.  He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Mason, of the Jayess Lodge.

Surviving Rickey are his children Jessica Garcia (Marvin), Daniel Dunaway (Amanda), and Daren Dunaway all of New Mexico; two step daughters Lisa Daniels (Ray) and Nikki Pierce (Jason) of Monticello, MS; step son Scott Upton of Lucedale, MS; wife Donna Robbins Dunaway of Jayess, MS; two brothers James Dunaway (Faye) Macky Dunaway (Tammy); three sisters Edna Ogden, Lynn Tillotson (Kevin), and Regina Powell, six grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Preceding him in death were his parents Dosbie Dale and Eunice Catherine Blackwell Dunaway, son Derrick Dunaway, two brothers Richard Earl and Zacky Dunaway, and two sisters Larose Hall and Rita Faye Dunaway.
