Randall "Kevin" Heard was born May 17, 1972 in Monticello, Mississippi to Barbara Berry Heard and Merlin Heard. Kevin, 52, passed away at his home in Jayess, Mississippi on May 25, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be Thursday morning, May 30, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the service time at 10:00 AM at Wilson Funeral Home. Bro. Bren Smith and Bro. David Browder will officiate. Interment will be in the New Hebron Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

Kevin's pride and joy, and the light of his life were his kids and grandkids. He had a deep love and devotion to his mama. He enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Kevin enjoyed the various jobs he worked while he was able, especially working offshore. He enjoyed the outdoors, riding in his truck, and music. He especially loved to play his drums.

Kevin is survived by his 3 children: Blake Heard (Alexis) of Jayess, MS, Haley Heard Norris (Steven) of Jayess, MS, and Cassie Bryant (Willis) of Monticello, MS. Seven grandchildren which he adored. His mother, Barbara Hall of Jayess, MS, and his oldest brother, Robert Heard (June) of Bogue Chitto, MS.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Merlin Heard, his grandparents, Robert Woodrow and Pauline Berry, John David and Freda Heard, two brothers, Richard (Ricky) Heard and Kenneth (Kenny) Heard, and one grandchild.
