Ramona Gill Howell, 86 was called home from this life on February 5, 2018, at her residence. Ramona was born March 3, 1931 in Louisiana to David and Tera Thornhill Gill.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 7, 2018 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Divide Methodist Protestant in Monticello and continuing Thursday February 8, 2018 from 9 AM until service time at 1 PM at Divide Methodist Protestant Church with graveside services following in the Church Cemetery, S. Bro. LaDon Dawson, Bro. Carlos Dawson and Chris Richardson will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ramona was a loving mother, grandmother, faithful church member, and a faithful friend to many.
Surviving Mrs. Howell are her children Glenda Ann Howell of Jayess, MS, Charles Edward Howell and wife Sandra of Monticello, Sherri Lynn Wallace and husband Ronnie of Jayess, 7 grandchildren Jason Marino, Natalee Marino Hebert, Melissa Howell, Candy King, Noah Rutland, Stacie Todd, Robert Howell, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her parents David and Tera Gill, husband Earl Howell, 2 brothers Bobby Gill and Connie Thames, and 1 sister Essie Parent .
Pallbearers will be Noah Rutland, Jason Marino, Ethan Hebert, Robert Howell, Dylan Howell, and Luke Hebert.
The family would like to express their gratefulness to the many that helped during her illness, and want them to be the Honorary Pallbearers, Barbara Estave, Estella Wilkinson, Brenda Adcock, Mandy Burris, Ann Manus, Jessica Williams, Melissa McKenzie, Jeanette Munn, Jane Bell, Trish Johnson, and Darlene Lamb.
