Phillip "Flip" Lawrence, 50 of Tilton was called home from this life on November 24, 2017, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Phillip was born December 19, 1966 in Tylertown, MS to Larry Lawrence and Wanda Ann Beeson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Tilton United Methodist Church in Tilton and continuing Monday, November 27, 2017 from 11 AM until service time at 2 PM at Tilton United Methodist Church with graveside services following in Tilton United Methodist Cemetery, Tilton, MS. Bro.Kevin Trantham will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Phillip loved being a father and grandfather, he was a very hard worker, very generous person and his door was always open to everyone. He loved the outdoors, loved to hunt and fish. He spent most of his life as a self-employed electrician, and was currently working as a Boilermaker at Turner Industries. He loved his family and friends and was known by everybody for his good compassionate heart.

Surviving Phillip are his daughters DeAnn Smith (Tyson) of Stumptown, Lana Lawrence of Carrolton, GA; step-son Deven Delaughter, parents Larry Lawrence of Hattiesburg, MS Harold and Wanda Ann Beeson of Jayess, MS; grandchildren Aidan Smith, Kinzi Smith, Annie Royer, Melana Royer, Lilly Royer, and Brooklyn Royer; sisters Becky King (Stanley), Beth McPhail, Phyllis Lawrence, Trisha Warren (Jesse) all of Jayess, MS, 5 nephews, 2 nieces and 10 great nephews and nieces.

Preceding him in death are his granddaughter Makayla Lawrence, grandparents Carl and Florine Lawrence, Houston Townsend and June and Leron Fuller.
