OBITUARY

Pauline Grimes was born on October 31, 1947. She passed from this life on August 24, 2026, at the residence of her daughter who cared for her until her passing along with her son-in-law who helped care for her as well. Mrs. Pauline loved sitting on her porch, rocking in her chair talking and chatting with her companion Leo Windham, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, working in her yard and feeding her hummingbirds, birds, and squirrels.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Johnny Edward Grimes Sr.; Parents, Thomas Shirley King and Maggie Hemphill King; Sisters, Martha Francine McNeese and Mary Mullins; Brother, Thomas King.

She is survived by her six children, John Edward Grimes Jr. (Georgia), James Darrell Grimes (Pat), Judy King, Paul Shannon Grimes (Terra), Heather Francine Lee (Robert), Matthew Toby Grimes. She leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as three great-great-grandchildren that are on the way. She is also survived by one sister, Etheline Sutton (Homer) and many nieces and nephews who cherish her.

Her life will live on through her family and all the memories they made with their mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who will always share the love and laughter she brought to everyone.
