Ms. Patti Lyn Rakes, 60, of Wesson, MS was called home from this life on September 28, 2018, at her residence in Wesson, MS. Patti was born February 1, 1958 in Wisconsin to Ken and Dorothy Rivest Mosuch.

Patti was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and never met a stranger. She was a free spirit who saw the good in every person and every situation. Patti was beautiful inside and out. She was an avid rock collector and had a green thumb. She enjoyed spending time outside collecting rocks and gardening and spending time with her dog, Zen. Patti made a point to offer a listening ear to family and friends and was a source of comfort and security to many.

Patti was preceded in death by her father, Ken Mosuch.

She is survived by her mother Dorothy Ann Rivest Mosuch of Larsen, WI and her sister Vicki (Royce) Campo of Kingman, AZ. Patti is survived by five children: Travis Rakes, Victoria, TX; Brittany Rakes, Golden Meadow LA; Brandon Rakes (Lisa Lambert) both of Wesson, MS; Casey Brown (Tony) Monticello, MS and Maya Brown Carithers (Alex) Columbia, MS. She is survived by 13 grandchildren Hailey, Savannah, Gunner, Kellan, Amalachite, Kali, Conner, Emma, Zoey, Lily, Taryn, Raeliegh and Haley. She is also survived by her best friend of several years, Craig Otis Rutland.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday October 2 ^nd , 2018 @ 6PM at the pavilion @ Atwood Water Park, Monticello, MS.
