Mr. Pat King, 79, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. He was born October 1, 1941 in Lawrence County, Mississippi to Martin and Elsie Lambert King.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 13 at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Monticello, MS.

Mr. King was a devout Christian man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren, and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eula "Sissy" Mills King, and by his daughters; Katrina Ard (Billy) of Monticello and Frances Bozeman of Brookhaven, Mississippi. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Blake Ard, Gunner Ard (Kacy), McGwire Ard, Kade Ard, Aubrey Bozeman (Kaitlyn), Aaron Bozeman, and Ashley Bozeman, as well as six great-grandchildren; Levi Bozeman, Elijah Ard, Karter Ard, Rylan Ard, Rohen Ard, and John Rawlings Ard. Mr. King also leaves behind one brother, Holton King, and three sisters; Doris Faye Smith, Alteen Tanskley, and Inell Gunnel.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings; Barney King and Olean Broomfield.
