Mrs. Ouida Blanche Miller, 86, was called into the presence of the Lord on May 17, 2015, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello, MS. Mrs. Miller was born at home in Monticello, MS on August 19, 1928 to Mr. Henry Houston Townsend and Mattie Thompson Townsend.

Visitation will be at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM and continue on Wednesday, May 20 at Wilson Funeral Home, from 12:00 PM till time of service at 2:00 PM. The graveside service will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dale Authement will be officiating the services. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Miller was a lifetime homemaker that dedicated her life to raising her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Fleet Miller Sr.; sisters, Arline Brister, Juanita Griffith and Alzita Townsend; brothers, Houston Townsend, Oscar Townsend, Austin Townsend, Jim Townsend; sons, Henry (Buddy) Miller; daughters, Francis Miller, and Donnice (Pee Wee) Clark.

Survivors are sister, Prudie Miller; sons, Curtiss Miller and wife, Brenda and Fleet Miller Jr. and wife Michelle; daughters, Jody Spence, Patricia Shaw, Martha Clark and husband Perry along with a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Brian Miller, Toby Warner, Rocky Kennedy, Adam Miller, Camron McDaniel, and Bruce Kennedy.
Honorary Pallbearers are Caydon Miller, Tommy Kennedy, and Cobby Lang.

A very special thank you goes out to the staff of Lawrence County Nursing Center and St. Luke Hospice for the many hours of dedicated and faithful service.
