Ophelia Irene Renfroe Davis peacefully passed from this world on January 13, 2025 at Lawrence County Hospital.

Known for her love for Jesus and kindness to others, she left a positive impression on everyone that she met.

Irene is survived by one son, O. C. Davis of Maryville, TN and three daughters: Teresa Hedgepeth; Debbie (Charles) Lowe of Monticello, MS; and Vickie (Keith) Branson of Mauriceville, TX.

Her grandchildren include: Jeffery (Brandi) Hedgepeth of Bogue Chitto, MS; Clint Hedgepeth of Monticello, MS; Josh (Misty) Davis of Maryville, TN; Eli (Kristen) Davis of Monticello, MS; Jeremiah (Amanda) Branson of Texas; Levi (Lacy) Branson of Texas; Hannah (Ryan) LeBlanc of Texas; Erin Lowe and Charlie Lowe of Monticello, MS.

Her great grandchildren include: Hannah Davis, Gage and Rhett Hedgepeth, Addie, Ruby and Sadie Branson, Evey and Coleman LeBlanc, Jase and Maverick Davis, BreAnna Dupes, Lochlyn and Jazlyn Davis.

The matriarch of our family has completed her earthly journey and stepped into the arms of Jesus.

"The Lord really blessed me with a wonderful husband and four precious children. I'll see all of you in heaven. Daddy and I will be waiting for you all. We are all in the family of God."

Visitation for Mrs. Irene Davis will be Friday night at WILSON FUNERAL HOME from 6-8.

Funeral service is Saturday at 2 PM at NEW ZION BAPTIST CHURCH with Burial to follow at New Zion.
