Obituary

Mr. Nate Lambert, 84, of Arm, MS passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello, MS. Nate was born August 23, 1935, in Lawrence County, Mississippi to Ben and Lucy Lambert.

Private visitation for family only will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 9:30 until service time at 11:00 AM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS with graveside services following at Arm Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Matt Robinson will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Family request that everyone must wear a mask and observe social distancing procedures.

Nate was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother and friend. He was a kind-hearted man who enjoyed playing music and singing. He was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church in Silver Creek, MS. He was the life of the party at the Lawrence County Nursing Home. Nate will be dearly missed by everyone.

Nate is survived by his wife, Frances Lambert of Silver Creek, MS; 6 children, Charlotte Robbins (Don) of Jayess, MS, Shannon Lambert (Julie) of Monticello, MS, Beverly Johnson (Terry) of Jayess, MS, Darlene Fuller of Brookhaven, MS, Marty Trott (Michael) of Silver Creek, MS and Shane Lambert (Tobie) of Silver Creek, MS; 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great  grandchildren; one sister Elma Ruth Blankenship (Enis) of Lumberton, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.

Those preceding him in death were his parents, one son Frankie Lambert, six sisters, one brother and son-in-law Benji Peavy.
