Mrs. Millie Day Beard, 79, of Jayess, Mississippi passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at her home. Millie was born September 18, 1941 to Willie Mack and Josephine Rutland Day.

Millie is survived by her husband Rex Beard, by one daughter Gina Whelchel (Steve) of Atlanta, Georgia, and by two granddaughters Poppy Whelchel and Matilda Whelchel. She is also survived by her siblings; Randy Day (Diane), Gene Day, and Wanda Day all of Jayess, as well as her nieces and nephews, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
