Mildred Irene Hammond Caul, 94, of Jayess, Mississippi, was called to her heavenly home on October 22, 2017. She was a resident of Jayess most of her life
and a member of Tilton United Methodist Church. She passed away on the farm in which she grew up on and loved dearly. Mildred is preceded in death by
her husband Harry Caul; three sisters - Marie Murry, Jodie Hammond, and Maudie Hammond; five brothers - Thomas, Buford, Charlie, Johnny, and Walter
Hammond; three sons-in-law - Jones Tullis, Kenny Robbins, and John England; one grandson - David Tullis; and one great granddaughter - Kaitlyn Tullis.
She was the last surviving child of Gussie Price Hammond and Ameal Coon Hammond.
She is survived by her six children: Harold Caul (Lura) of Jayess, Harriett Robbins of Jayess, Joan Burt (Harold) of Jayess, Yetta England of Jayess, Champ
Caul (Tami) of Longview, Texas, and Mary Wood (Robert) of Jayess. She was also survived by eleven grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, four great-great
grandchildren, one sister-in-law Grace Hammond, several nephews and a niece.
Mildred devoted her life to caring for her family, while working as a crop farmer, cattle farmer, bus driver, department store clerk, and security guard.
Funeral services will be at 11 am on October 24, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello, Mississippi. Reverends LaDon Dawson and Scott
Johnson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Tilton United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jayess, Mississippi. The family will receive friends on
Monday, October 23, 2017, from 5 pm until 9 pm.
