Funeral services for Mr. Michael P. "Mike" Guill, 61 will be held on August 19, 2023, at New Life Church in Monticello, Mississippi, commencing at 2:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM. Brother Jay Thompson will officiate the services, with arrangements handled by Wilson Funeral Home.

Mr. "Mike" Guill of Brookhaven, MS, transitioned from this life at his residence on August 14, 2023. Born on October 7, 1961, in Hinsdale, IL, he was the cherished son of Myron "Mike" Guill and Alice Marie Bartman.

Mike's life revved up in his dad's garage at 17 and sped on to a successful automotive business till he was 61. With a coffee in one hand and a Poison album in the other, he journeyed through life – admiring classic cars, diving deep into books, fishing tales, and never missed a chance to chat… and chat. While he loved making money, his love for his sons and daughters was priceless. Known to always go the extra mile for others, we suspect he might be a tad late getting to his own funeral. We ask that you be patient and remember his golden rule: "You're not late until you get there…"

He was lovingly received in the afterlife by his parents, Myron Oscar Guill and Alice Marie Bartman, as well as by his stepparents, Earl E. Bartman and Lee Z. Guill.

He leaves behind his devoted sons, Charles and Hunter; his cherished granddaughters, Sophia and Nadya; and his siblings, Mark and Michelle.
