Mary Theresa Young, 88, died peacefully with her family by her side in Melbourne FL.  She was incredibly strong willed and lived her later years to the fullest,  even recovering from a broken hip several years prior and able to walk again.   She enjoyed traveling, driving, crocheting and loved everything Elvis related.  Mary was born on May 3, 1930 in Providence RI and later relocated to Hialeah FL.   She moved to the Panama City area in 1974.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Larry H. Young Jr, Step-son Rodney Young of Bay Minette AL, four brothers,  Eddie, Michael, Johnny and Al and her sister Barbara,  all resided in Hialeah FL.  She is survived by her son Steven P. Young of Panama City FL, Step-son Larry Young Jr of Fairhope AL, Step-daughters Paula Bishop of Fairhope AL and Laura Moseley of Stockton AL, brothers Tony Masso of Florida and Jimmy Masso of Oklahoma and sister Terry of Florida.

The service for Mary will be held on Friday Feb 15 ^th at Wilson Funeral Home, 904 Thomas E Jolly Dr, Monticello MS 39654. Visitation will be held from 1p to 3p on Friday.  Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, 1098 Pleasant Grove Dr SE, Monticello MS, with the procession departing Wilson Funeral Home at 3p.
