Ms. Mary Nell Ready May, 91, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at her residence in Monticello, Mississippi. Mary was born July 11, 1929, in Lawrence County Mississippi to Ira and Lucille Cox Langley.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 17, 2021 from 12 PM until service time at 2 PM at Monticello United Methodist Church in Monticello, MS. Rev. Mike Evans will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mary Nell retired from the Lawrence County School District as a teacher's aid. Mary Nell was a loving mother, grandmother, great grand-mother and friend. She was a kind-hearted woman who enjoyed caring and providing for others, especially close friends and family.  She was a member of Monticello United Methodist Church in Monticello. Mary Nell will be missed by everyone.

Mary Nell is survived by her three children, Lucy Cohen of Clinton, MS, Jimmy Ready(Susan) of Monticello, MS and David Ready of Monticello, MS; grandchildren, Raylee, Kylie, Ben, Jennifer, Kala, Danny, Jason and Justin; 9 great grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews.

Those preceding her in death were her parents, husbands, Dan Ready and Prodous May; son Danny Ford Ready.
