Mary Sue Lambert, 86, of Monticello, MS passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello, MS. Sue was born August 22, 1936, in Pinola, Mississippi to James Leonard and Beulah Perrett Bennett.

Visitation will be held on Thursday January 5, 2023 from 10 AM until service time at 11 AM at Forest Grove Methodist Protestant Church in Jayess, MS. Bro. Bobby Dawson will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Sue retired from Kellwood Manufacturing as a seamstress. Sue enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and cross stitching. She was also a member of Forest Grove Methodist Protestant Church where she was involved in the Women's Missionary Society, Bible School activities and hosting duties.

Sue is survived by her sister Geraldine Henderson (Raymond) of Mendenhall, MS; daughter Tracey Clark (Leonard) of Monticello, MS; daughter-in-law Gwen Lambert of Monticello, MS; her grandchildren Tina Thomas of Moselle, MS, Ethan Lambert (Amanda) of Foxworth, MS, Geri Kibbe (Dustin) of Monticello, MS and Will Clark of Monticello, MS; and six great-grandchildren.

Sue was proceeded in death by her parents, husband John Mack Lambert Sr, son John Lambert Jr, and step-son Johnny Lambert.

Memorials or donations can be made in her honor to the Forest Grove Methodist Protestant Women's Missionary Society.
