Mrs. Mary Sue Herron, 76 of Monticello, MS passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the Aston Court Retirement Home, McComb, MS. She was born June 2, 1943 in Jayess, MS to Dewitt William and Maggie Martin Alexander.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello; MS. Graveside Services will be Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Michael Smith will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Sue was an active worker in her church, Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello, MS. She worked for several years as a cashier at Wal-Mart and Ramey's and enjoyed working at the polls.

She is survived by her son Michael Rushing and wife Charemon; one sister Pearline Givens; three grandchildren, Benjamin Rushing, Erin Rushing, and Jaime Diasselliss.

Preceeding her in death are her parents; husband Bill Herron; daughter Tammy Diasselliss; four brothers WP, Cecil, Hugh, and James Alexander; two sisters Charlene Daniels and Earlene Knowles.
