Ms. Mary Louise Caldwell, 90, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Beacham Hospital in Magnolia, MS. Mary was born February 24, 1930 in Foley, Alabama to William and Etta Vee Polk.
Graveside services will be held at the Roberts Memorial Cemetery, Jayess, MS at 2:00PM on Monday, February 22, 2021. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mary Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a one-of-a-kind woman who enjoyed being surrounded and spoiled by her family. Mary was spunky, witty, and creative, and was an avid Braves fan. Her family's lives will forever be changed, and she will be missed by all.
Mrs. Caldwell is survived by her children, Becky Reid (Bobby) of Monticello; Steve Caldwell (Teri) of Monticello, AR; Tina Givens of Loyd Star, MS; by a son-in-law Eddie Pennington (Judy) of Sumrall, MS.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dina McNeil (Dylan), Dusty Pennington (Missy), Michelle Reid, Bridget Case (Korey), Heather Curry (Adam), Will Brister (Samantha), Stacey Gorman (Brandon), Marcey Brown (Marshall), and Megan Lang (Brennan); and 16 great-grandchildren, Zachary Reid, Raylee Ready, D.J. McNeil, Kylie Ready, Dalton McNeil, Kayleigh Case, Bryce Curry, Grayson Gorman, Kallie Case, Cayden Brown, Marshall Paul Brown, Lily Dale Curry, Landry Gorman, Lleyton Brister, Carter Pennington, and Keegan Lang.
Those preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Roy Caldwell and a daughter Dianne Pennington. She was also preceded in death by five siblings, two grandchildren - Buddy Reid and Shawna Ready - and her beloved Rascal.
