Mary Boyd, 62, was called home from this life on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Mrs. Boyd was born February 5, 1953 in Belzoni, MS to Floyd and Betty Ross Womble.
Visitation will be at Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Jayess, MS on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 6:00 PM till 9:00 PM and will continue at Calvary United Pentecostal Church on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 12:00 PM until the time of services at 1:00 PM. The graveside service will follow in Powell's Grove United Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Jayess, MS. Rev. Ray Bowling and Rev. Richie Boyd will officiate the service. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Boyd was a homemaker. She attended Calvary United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her four boys. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Betty Ross Womble; brother, Freddie Womble; and grandson, Hayden Boyd.
Survivors are her husband of 43 years, Everett K. Boyd; sons, Joseph Boyd and wife Stephanie of Jayess, MS, John David Boyd and wife Nikki of Georgetown, MS, James Michael Boyd and wife Martha of Georgetown, MS, and Robert Boyd of Jayess, MS; grandchildren, Barnabas Mangum, Sonya Schmit, Ryanna Boyd and Gabrielle Maxwell; great grandchildren, Anna Mangum, Izzy Mangum and William Mangum; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers are Joseph Boyd, John Boyd, James Michael Boyd, Robert Boyd, Will Dunaway and Adrian Starkey.
