Martha Irene Russell Garrett
March 7, 1937 – June 19, 2020
Services for Martha Garrett will be on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home
Chapel in Monticello, MS. Brother Jimmy Harvey will be officiating the services. Visitation will begin at
11:00 am and continue until the time of the service; please follow social distancing procedures.

Martha was born in Georgetown, MS to A. D. Hinson Russell and George Bowskey Russell. A lifelong
resident of Monticello, she married Tom Garrett and was a homemaker.

Her interests included singing, bright colored clothes and enjoying her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents,  her husband and one sister Mary Yvonne Russell May.

Her remaining family includes son Kevin Garrett and wife Angela of Madison MS, son Rusty Garrett and Anita Hotard of Monticello, grandchildren Ryane Rogers, (Cory) of Madison, MS, Rhianna Reeder (Kyle) of Oxford, MS, greatgrandchildren Tinsley Rogers, Maris Rogers, Harper Reeder, Ames Reeder and Ezra Reeder.

Other special relationships include Britney (RD) Guess and Samantha (Ryan) Reeves and her dear friends, ZeldaDavis and Lorraine Hyde.
