Mr. Mark Duane Buchanan, 56 of Monticello, MS passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at his residence in Monticello, MS. He was born October 24, 1963 in Jackson MS, to Delmus Ray and Shelby Cooper Buchanan.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday November 13, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello, MS. Brother Philip Alford will be the officiant.

Mark was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello, MS. He had a love for animals, especially horses. He enjoyed spending time on his family farm caring for his animals. When he wasn't caring for animals he was watching old Westerns. He should have been a cowboy. Mark should be remembered for his huge heart and great love for his family.

Mark is survived by his daughter Harley Buchanan of Flowood, MS; mother Shelby Buchanan of Monticello; one brother Mack Buchanan of Jayess.

Preceding him in death are his father Delmus Ray Buchanan and two brothers Mike Buchanan and Delmus Ray Buchanan Jr.
