Ms. Marie Boyles Templet, 95, of Silver Creek, Mississippi passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello, MS. Marie was born August 13, 1926 in Monticello, Mississippi to Columbus and Maude Glover Boyles.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 3, 2021 from 11 AM until service time at 2 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS, with graveside services following in Old Silver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Bro. Jimmy Harvey and Bro. Jay Thompson will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Marie owned and operated her beauty shop in Silver Creek for many years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed square dancing with her friends, she was a member of Shalom Baptist Church. She will be missed by everyone.

Marie is survived by her children Sandra Laird and Scotty Martin both of Silver Creek; grandchildren, Tammy Bass, Tanya Vela (Rich), Terry Bass (Trena); 5 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Marie was preceded in death by her husbands M.L. Martin and Ray Templet; sons, Samuel Martin and Stephen Martin; 5 brothers and 1 sister.
