Mrs. Maggie Lou Wilson, 85, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2021 at Southwest Medical Center in McComb, MS. Maggie was born August 18, 1937 to Thomas and Luna Nelson Neal.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello, MS, with graveside services following in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Sam Taylor and Bro. Kevin Crozier will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Maggie enjoyed spending time outdoors working in her yard. Maggie was a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church where she served as Financial Ministry Assistant also for Monticello Baptist Church for many years. She taught Sunday School and served on various committees.

Maggie is survived by her husband of 55 years James A. Wilson of Monticello, MS; one sister Sue Vickers of Ash Flat, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews.

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister.
