Mac Madison Johnson Sr., 75, was called home from this life on April 9, 2018, at his residence in Sontag, MS. Mac was born August 23, 1942 in Sontag, MS to Leon and Ethel Douglas Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 6 PM until 9 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag, MS and continuing Sunday April 15, 2018 from 12:30 PM until service time at 2 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church with graveside services following in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Sontag, MS. Bro. Ed King and Bro. Andy Fullington will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mac worked in the oil field as a Tool Pusher for 20 years; he enjoyed working on his farm and helping his community. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend; he was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Surviving Mac is his children Francine "Peanut" Hodges (Bowen) of Brookhaven, MS; Mac "BoBo" Johnson Jr. of Sontag, Tammy Smith (Larry) of Sontag, Sondra Smith (Brennon) of Sontag; Kenneth Johnson (Brooke) of Lucedale, MS; Angela Johnson of Sontag, brothers Bliss Johnson, Franklin Johnson, Walter Lee Johnson, Alvin Johnson and Joe Johnson all of Sontag, sisters Stella Mae Johnson of Sontag and Lil Ernestine Lefleur of Metairie, LA; grandchildren Shana Kimble, Trent Hodges, Matthew Johnson, Derrick Heathcock, Josh Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Kenneth Nelson Johnson Jr., Gregory Brock, Ethan Johnson, Riley Johnson, Wyatt Johnson, Skylar Nixon and Brodie Morris; Great Grandchildren Lane Norton, Paxton Hodges, Addison Johnson, Tara Harvey, Kaylee Grace Johnson, Kynslee Elizabeth Johnson, Paxton "Pac man" Brock, Aubreann Brock and Brittany Johnson.

Preceding him in death were his parents Leon and Ethel Douglas Johnson, son Kenneth Nelson Johnson Sr.; brothers Roy Johnson, Paul Johnson, Dennis Earl Johnson and J.K. Johnson; sisters Holline Mount, Big Ernestine Castlow, Ruby Lee Thornhill, Mary (Pete) Turnage and Maurice Douglas; grandchildren Mitchell Hardy and Joseph Florence.
