Mr. Lynn Joseph Rivere, 89, of Jayess, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. He was born October 10, 1931 in Napoleonville, Louisiana to Camille and Rita Perrere Rivere.

A visitation will be held at Divide Memorial Methodist Protestant Church on Tuesday, September 28, from 12:00 noon until funeral services begin at 2:00. A graveside service will follow in the Divide Memorial Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Lynn was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and a member of the Divide Memorial Methodist Protestant Church. He was also a member of the Zachary, Louisiana Masonic Lodge, and was an active member of the VFW and the Monticello Exchange Club. Mr. Lynn was a life-long fan of LSU football.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, other extended family, Divide church family, and a host of friends.

Mr. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Ellene Sistrunk Rivere, along with his siblings; Lennet Rivere, Duffy Rivere, Ernest Rivere, Marie Landry, Anna Mae Smith, Milda Mistretta, and Doyce Ann Falcon.
