Mrs. Lucretia Faye Whitley, 57, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Merit Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, MS. Lucretia was born March 14, 1965 in Magnolia, Mississippi to Edward and Faye Varnado Brumfield.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday September 24, 2022 at 10 AM at New Life Church in Monticello, MS.

Lucretia loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and Ole Miss Football. She loved going to flea markets and spending time outdoors, she never met a stranger. She was a member of New Life Church in Monticello, MS.

Lucretia is survived by her husband Jimmy Whitley of Monticello, MS; children Jordan Williams (Andrew), Emily Edwards (Richard), Matthew Wolfe (Bailey), Carson Whitley and son Justin Whitley; grandchildren Jiles, Jayleigh, Natalie, Ryleigh, Ruby, Emery, Jonah, Carter, Brooklynn, Scout, Audiana and Laila; brothers Glenn (Virginia), Tommy (Betty) and James (Rebecca) Brumfield.

Lucretia was proceeded in death by her parents and one brother Phil Brumfield.
